Your Ride Recharged

GENERAL QUESTIONS
How do I know which module I need?
-Refer to your vehicle’s original part number (located on the existing module) and match it during your search on our site. If you're unsure, contact us with your VIN and we’ll help confirm the correct fitment.
My module showed up damaged?
-In the event your module is damaged during the delivery process, please contact support@vinfuse.com with images to document the damaged shipping box and unit. If delivery damages qualify, we will issue you an RMA for a new module.
Are your modules plug-and-play?
-Most of our modules are plug-and-play, meaning they are pre-programmed and synced to your VIN for direct installation. Some vehicles may require a security relearn (such as SKIM or anti-theft reset) depending on the make and model. Instructions will be provided when necessary.
What is your return policy?
-Each control module we offer is custom-programmed, built, and tested to match your vehicle’s specific VIN. Due to the nature of our product, we do not accept returns for any reason, including misdiagnosis, incorrect orders, or change of mind. All sales are final.
What is a VIN?
- Your VIN number is your vehicle's unique identification number that is specific to the model, software and parts necessary for the vehicle to operate. This number is the 17- character code located most commonly on the inside of your driver’s side door, vehicle documentation like your registration, insurance and title or the serial number at the bottom of the windshield on your driver's side.
Do your modules come with a warranty?
-Yes. All VINFUSE™ modules come with a limited lifetime warranty against unexpected internal failures under normal operating conditions. You MUST register your warranty within the first 30 days after receiving your module in order to honor the warranty. Warranty coverage does not include: Improper installation Damage from faulty wiring, poor ground, or voltage spikes Water or fire damage Vehicle issues unrelated to the module Please see our Warranty Terms for full details.
INSTALLATION, warranty & PROGRAMMING QUESTIONS
Can I install the module myself?
-While plug-and-play means no additional programming is required in most cases, we strongly recommend professional installation. Misdiagnosis, incorrect connections, or poor grounding can damage the module or prevent it from working correctly and void the warranty.
How do I register my warranty?
-Fill out the warranty registration form here within 30 days of receiving your module.
Will I need to do a security relearn?
-We will program your module to avoid extra steps, however some vehicles require a SKIM (Sentry Key Immobilizer Module) or anti-theft relearn. If there is an issue with pre-programming this prior to you receiving your module, instructions will be included in your delivery. A basic scan tool or dealership assistance may be required.
How do I file a Claim?
-To file a claim, complete the Warranty Claim Form on our website. All claims must include: Order number and VIN, Description of the issue, Scan tool readout or fault codes, Photos of the installed module and dashboard. -⚠️ Claims without supporting documentation or that result from external failure sources will not be covered. Please review the disclaimer on the claim form carefully.
Why isn’t my module working?
-⚠️IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE INSTALLING YOUR MODULE We understand that a non-start or engine issue can feel like a failed module. But in many cases, the problem lies elsewhere. Before assuming your ECU/PCM/ECM is faulty, you must thoroughly inspect the following: -Common Overlooked Issues (Not Caused by the Module): Low battery voltage or weak alternator, Faulty or dirty ground wires (especially chassis and engine grounds), Poor connector contact or corroded pins, Damaged or pinched harness wiring, Shorted sensors (TPS, MAP, MAF, etc.), Aftermarket accessories interfering with factory wiring, Blown fuses or relays that power the ECM. -Professional Tip: Many "bad module" claims are actually due to: Incomplete diagnostics, Failure to verify power/ground at the ECM connectors, Using the module to “test” a suspected issue. -If your original module failed due to an external issue (e.g., shorted wiring or high-voltage spike), replacing it without fixing the root cause can instantly damage the new unit.
