Lifetime Warranty –

What "Lifetime" Means

This warranty is limited to one (1) qualified and authorized replacement or repair per purchased unit. Once a valid warranty claim has been processed and the product has been replaced or repaired, the warranty for that unit is considered fulfilled and will no longer be active.

This policy ensures that each VinFuse module is covered for unexpected failure — but also prevents repeated claims on the same purchase. If a second failure occurs after a claim has already been completed, a new purchase is required to obtain new warranty coverage.

What the Warranty Covers

If your registered module fails during normal use, you're covered.

We’ll repair or replace modules that fail due to:

  • Internal component failure

  • Communication failure

  • Remanufacturing defects

What Voids the Warranty

Warranty coverage will be denied if:

  • The unit has been opened, tampered with, or modified

  • The module is damaged due to incorrect installation or vehicle misdiagnosis

  • Warranty registration was not completed within 30 days of delivery

  • The issue stems from another failing or incompatible vehicle system

  • The vehicle’s electrical system is unstable, poorly grounded, or compromised by aftermarket wiring

  • The module is exposed to water, moisture, or flooding, including damage caused by water intrusion

  • The module is damaged in a collision, accident, or impact event, whether or not the vehicle was declared totaled or repaired

  • The module is used in unsupported operating conditions, including:

    • Software tuning

    • Unauthorized racing or competitive driving

    • Off-road use or suspension-modified applications

    • Any scenario outside OEM engineering parameter

How to File a Warranty Claim

Please fill our the Warranty Claim Form, if your claim qualifies and is approved we will issue the replacement.

To help us assess your claim, please have the following information ready to complete the form:

  • Module Serial Number

  • Order Number and Vehicle VIN

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Scan tool readout or diagnostic report (if available)

  • Photos of the module and dashboard (if applicable)

⚠️ Important: Claims are only accepted for verified module failures. Issues caused by unrelated vehicle systems—such as bad wiring, faulty sensors, or installation errors—do not qualify for warranty coverage.

All claims are reviewed by our technical team. If your claim qualifies, you’ll be issued an

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) with further instructions.

Return Policy

At VinFuse, each control module we offer is custom-programmed, built, and tested to match your vehicle’s specific VIN.

Due to the nature of our product, we do not accept returns for any reason, including misdiagnosis, incorrect orders,

or change of mind. All sales are final.

Why We Don’t Accept Returns

Every ECU, PCM, and ECM we remanufacture is:

  • Matched to your VIN at the time of sale

  • Built to order

  • Tested and verified prior to shipment

Because modules are uniquely programmed for your vehicle, they cannot be resold or reprogrammed for someone else.

This makes traditional returns incompatible with our remanufacturing model.

If There’s an Issue With

the Unit

If you believe your module is not functioning properly, please refer to our Limited Lifetime Warranty, which covers

internal failures and remanufacturing defects for the life of the product.

To qualify for warranty coverage:

  • You must register your warranty within 30 days of receiving the unit

  • The unit must not be tampered with, opened, or improperly installed

  • Claims must follow the outlined warranty claim process

We are committed to resolving valid issues quickly and professionally under our warranty terms.

Please contact us at support@vinfuse.com for assistance if a problem arises.

Important Notes

No returns will be accepted under any circumstances, including:

  • Ordering the wrong part number

  • Misdiagnosis of a vehicle issue

  • No longer needing the module

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle’s diagnostic results and part numbers match the unit being ordered
Failure to register your warranty within the 30-day window will result in loss of eligibility for support or coverage.
